ABOUT US
Voted CORGI Installer of the year 2007 - 2nd Place
Nigel Scurr- Proprietor - Fully qualified City and Guilds trained in plumbing to advanced craft level, central heating also to advanced craft levels as well as ventilating and welding. Whilst at York college of further and higher education I was chosen for two years running to represent the college in craft apprentice competitions held at Olympia-London as well as other events and competitions throughout the region. Shortly after leaving college, and as I was now a married man, (April 13th 1973) I was invited back to teach part time. This completed my fulfilment of teaching as both my father and grandfather has also taught whilst holding down a full time plumbing careers. I still had a plumbing and central heating company to run alongside my father and mother and not forgetting my personal assistant Pat my wife. I am proud to be fully experienced in the installation and use of copper pipe and copper fittings, as a company we only use high quality solder ring fittings.

Patricia Scurr - What can be said “SHE IS PERFECT"
Both my son's are not Plumbers and are very successfull in their chosen carreers.
Andrew Scurr - Works in the Financial Servicies.
Simon Scurr - Works in Internet Technology
Mum & Dad - Both retired now, some time ago we completed some work for New Earswick Chapel and Dad noticed that the gravity iron pipework from the boiler was unusual in its design height he said " there is only one person who could have designed that installation - and thats your Grandad my Father"
Dads 80th birthday last week a big milestone, ageing is so slow its not until you mention numbers that you think WOW 80 - just like at my last birthday "56" I thought dam thats old, its gone past so fast, maybe I should change my very personal thoughts to "Live For Today" ---NA --I think thats too selfish.
Dad is still recovering from having his second plastic knee replacement, Get Well Soon. Not much better, after one year. N .
RIP, Mam 30.10.10 will be sadly missed by all her extended family and all who knew her throughout her private and business life.
One Year On - Sadly Missed.
